Brook Community Primary School

Great day at Rivermead School

Clay Mythological Animals from The Island Residential Home
Hello everyone, I hope you've had a great Easter!
I've recently been sent a lovely photo of some clay mythological animals from one of my Roman workshops that the residents have painted at The Island Residential Home. Don't they look great!? 50,000,000 year old shark teeth
I found these on the seashore in North Kent. They're 50,000,000 year old shark teeth from the London clay, they date from the early Eocene and Thanetian period. The shark that they originally came from all those years ago is now an exctinct species. These teeth are at least ten times older than the earliest humans. #fossils #sharkteeth #sheppey #history4homes #KentHistoryWorkshops
