" Dino Day! 17th November 2016

Mr Aers, the dinosaur expert came to visit Maple Class to teach us all about different dinosaurs. We learnt what carnivores, herbivores and omnivores are and how to detect them from their teeth. Trixie the Triceratops, who had been hiding in a cave when the dinosaurs were wiped out came to see us too. We really enjoyed meeting her and feeding her lots of leaves! We drew dinosaurs and made clay models of our drawings and we inspected fossils with magnifying glasses. What an amazing day we had! Take a look at our photos to see what we got up to!
