Hartlip Endowed C of E Primary Stone Age Workshop
Trixie and I had a wonderful time at Hartlip Endowed C of E Primary School, the children there were learning about the Stone Age and enjoyed dressing up in Ice Age clothing. They also had their own impressive collection of pottery, Stone Age tools and their own paper mache caves. I was extremely pleased when the children told me how much fun they had doing the Stone Age workshop, being able to learn something new and enjoy yourself at the same time is at the very heart of my belief when it comes to teaching.
I have included some photos of the excellent Stone Age Megafauna (animals) and pottery made by the pupils. There's plenty of bears, lions, sabre tooth tigers, mammoths, rhinos and mini horses to be seen. I still find it amazing to think that all these animals once lived in England!:
